Season 1
- Blood Drive: Episode 22, "Napoleon's Battle Plan" (1999). Jeremy hears that the show is participating in a blood drive and spends the entire episode loudly telling anyone within earshot that he can't participate, even though no one seems to care.
Season 2
- Worthless Worker: Episode 7, "Kyle Whitaker's Got Two Sacks" (1999). The new intern, Corbin, is screwing up left and right, but Jeremy's reluctant to fire him because his cousin is JJ, the annoying network exec who frequently gives the crew a hard time for their middling ratings. It doesn't help that Corbin invokes JJ's name whenever Jeremy tries to get him to shape up.
- Ragining Bull&@!: Episode 11, "The Cut Man Cometh" (2000). Sports Night is hosting a special presentation of world championship fight, and nothing is going right. Their correspondent, "Cut Man," is out to lunch, and the fight lasts only seven seconds, leaving Dan and Casey with no material for the 90-minute special.
- Surprise Porn Star: Episode 15, "Celebrities" (2000). A beautiful woman hits on Jeremy in bar, and he flirts back...until he finds out she's an adult film actress.
- Skin Deep: Episode 18, "Draft Day: Part 2 - The Fall of Ryan O'Brian" (2000). Dana's wearing a huge bandage on her face, and she's telling everyone she "fell down," but when Casey guesses, Dana tells him the truth: she broke out from stress and used the bandage to hide it.
